Assets and liabilities
The two pages behind the headline figure. Everything you own on one, everything you owe on the other, grouped into classes you can click into.
On this page
The dashboard gives you one number. Assets and Liabilities are where that number comes apart into things you can inspect.
They are the two sides of a balance sheet, and they read like one: accounts lead, the transactions that produced them come second.
Assets
Everything you own, grouped into four classes:
Investments, meaning securities, crypto and other tradable positions.
Home, meaning property you own.
Cash, meaning bank, broker and exchange fiat balances.
Other assets, meaning gold, business stakes and anything else you entered by hand.
Each class shows its total and opens into what is inside it.
Liabilities
Everything you owe, in two classes: mortgages, meaning home loans, and loans, meaning personal loans, student loans including DUO, and credit cards.
If you have none, the page says so rather than showing an empty table. Debt-free is a state worth stating.
Net worth is the difference
Both pages show their total, and the difference between them is the figure on your dashboard. The arithmetic is deliberately visible rather than hidden behind a single number.
Filtering
You can narrow either page by class, and by your own tags. Clicking a class filters to it rather than navigating away, so you can move between views without losing your place.
Things you will see, and what they mean
Unpriced. Gylder holds this position but cannot currently price it. It is shown as unpriced rather than as zero, because those are different claims and showing the second as the first would understate your net worth while looking normal. See how your assets are priced.
Disconnected. The account behind this holding is no longer connected. The data stays visible, frozen at its last sync, rather than vanishing.
Manual. Entered by hand rather than synced, so it holds its value until you update it.
Hidden accounts. Accounts you have chosen to hide are excluded from the lists but noted, so a total that looks wrong has a visible explanation.
Where to go deeper
Investments is a summary. For the diversification donut, the risk measures, dividends and per-position analysis, use the investments dashboard.
Home opens into the property, with net equity, LTV and the mortgage schedule. See adding a property and tracking a mortgage.
Individual holdings open their own page, with the price history for that instrument and your position in it over time.
