Plans and what changes

What each plan includes, what happens when a trial ends, and what a downgrade does to accounts you have already connected. Your data is never deleted for billing reasons.

The thing worth knowing before anything else: changing plan never deletes your data. A trial ending or a downgrade changes what Gylder does going forward. What it has already gathered stays.

For current prices see gylder.nl/pricing. This page is about behaviour rather than cost.

The trial

A new account starts on a 30-day trial with full access, equivalent to Pro. Nothing is held back, so you are evaluating the real product rather than a limited version of it.

You will be prompted to choose what happens at the end before it arrives.

What each plan does

Basic is a usable tracker. Up to two connected integrations, manual entries, and 30 days of history in charts.

Pro removes the ceilings: unlimited integrations, unlimited history, the investments analysis section, custom alerts, and data export.

Business is Pro plus company tracking and dedicated support.

Free is not a plan you choose. It is where an account lands when a trial ends without a subscription, and it is covered below.

When a trial ends without a subscription

The account becomes read-only, and it is worth being precise about what that means, because it is less drastic than it sounds and more consequential than it looks.

What stays. Every connected account stays connected. All the data gathered up to that point stays visible. You can log in and look at it.

What stops. Syncing. No new balances, no new transactions, no new prices. Your figures freeze at the last day of paid access and stay there. You also cannot add new integrations or edit entries.

Nothing is deleted, and connections are preserved rather than removed, so subscribing later resumes where you left off rather than starting again.

The important consequence: a frozen dashboard still looks like a working one. The numbers are real, they are simply historical. If you return to Gylder after a gap and the figures look stale, check your plan before concluding something is broken.

Downgrading from Pro to Basic with more than two integrations

Basic allows two integrations. If you have more when you downgrade, Gylder does not choose for you and does not disconnect anything.

Instead, all your connections pause and you are asked to select the two to keep active. The rest stay in place, frozen at their last sync, and resume automatically if you upgrade again.

The selection prompt is prominent but does not block the app. You can keep using everything else, and frozen data stays visible while you decide.

History limits

Free and Basic show 30 days of history in charts. Pro and above show all of it.

This limits the view, not the data. Gylder keeps taking daily snapshots regardless of plan, so upgrading reveals history that was accumulating the whole time rather than starting a new record.

Managing your subscription

Under Settings → Subscription: your current plan, when it renews or ends, and a link to the billing portal for payment details, invoices and cancellation.

Cancelling does not cut you off immediately. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for, and the account moves to read-only after that.

If you decide to leave

Two separate things, worth not confusing:

Cancelling stops billing and moves the account to read-only at period end. The data stays and you can come back.

Deleting removes the account and the data permanently. See exporting and deleting your data, and export first if you might want the numbers later.
